1.8 Aug 12, 2010 James Nyland 1.8 I had heard that Dr. Nyland was a very good dentist, however, my son would cry every time he went in to see him. Dr. Nyland came across as a bit cold. The final straw came when they just took my son in the back and didn't even tell me what was going on, I just heard him crying, they would not even let me see what they were doing to him...they closed the curtain at the window so I could not see. After that, I took him to see Dr. Carol French, who was really great with my son and you could watch the whole procedure through a window.

1.0 May 11, 2010 Lon McRae 1.0 He has no interpersonal skills. He's pompous and arrogant. His skills do not match his arrogance. He does not care about you. Don't recommend him.
1.4 Apr 26, 2010 Janet Refoa 1.4 Dentist or car dealership?? I never felt more like I was being up sold on dental work that was supposedly “necessary”. After my consultation with Dr. Refoa, I told her that my dental work needed to be limited due to my lack of full-insurance coverage and personal funds. She told me I had 6 cavities that needed fillings and at least 2 wisdom teeth that needed to be extracted – totaling between $2,000 and 3,000. The whole time she was not clear on what procedures were really necessary. On top of that she could not explain how she came up with the price of each procedure. I even had my insurance co-payment fee schedule with me, to help her break it down. All in all, I would not recommend this dentist. Since then I have found a new dentist who told me I actually did not have any cavities.

1.8 Apr 20, 2010 Joseph Mesh 1.8 Not a good experience at all. Spent thousands and am very unhappy. It took 3 years to get crowns and they look awful and had to pay up front. Horrible manner and not professional at all.
